Time Bank by CCH
What is Time Bank?
Time Bank is a volunteer-driven platform initiated by the Centre for Children’s Happiness (CCH), in collaboration with Youngsters and “Partners for Children,” as a unique and meaningful way to foster mutual giving, learning, and socialparticipation.
At its core, Time Bank values your time as currency. Every individual – whether a child, youth, adult, senior, professional, homemaker, student, or retiree – can contribute their time and skills to support others in need, and in return, earn time credits to use when they need support.
Whether you’re teaching a child, supporting a caregiver, creating educational content, planting trees, or even helping build a safe space for play – your time matters. And every hour you give is recorded and saved in the Time Bank.

How It Works
Enroll (Join the Time Bank):
- Visit the CCH Time Bank portal or contact a CCH facilitator.
- Register yourself (online or through a community partner).
- Share your basic profile and interests

- Attend a short orientation (online or in person) to learn how the system works.
Engage (Contribute Your Time)
- Use your earned credits to:
- Get support or services (tutoring, help with a campaign, a workshop, design, guidance, etc.).
- Request time from another Time Bank member.
- oin exclusive learning circles, retreats, or gift events by CCH.
Return and Recognition:
- Members get:
- Personal impact tracker (how many lives touched).
- Happiness Points (used for recognition, events, or gifts).
- Monthly shout-outs and featured stories.
- Wellbeing support through CCH’s psycho-social network.
