CCH is a nationally recognized child-focused non-profit organization in Sri Lanka, committed to ensuring the rights, wellbeing, and positive childhood of every child, especially those affected by conflict and poverty. For over 20 years, we’ve worked in marginalized communities to support safe, healthy, and empowered childhoods

Through evidence-based programs like Team UP, EASE, and Reach NOW, CCH offers: Child & family counseling Psychological first aid Resilience-building workshops Support groups and therapy sessions

Team UP is a play-based psychosocial tool developed by War Child Holland. It helps children build emotional resilience, express feelings, and recover from trauma through movement and structured activities. CCH is the official implementing partner in Sri Lanka.

CCH runs model daycare and preschool centers under the SMILE Schools program. We also train preschool teachers and provide safe, child-friendly learning spaces, following the WHO-UNICEF Nurturing Care Framework.

We work with: Village Child Development Committees Schools and communities to prevent abuse and exploitation National and international laws, including the UNCRC

We provide: Life skills and digital literacy training Career guidance and mentoring Social-emotional learning (SEL) to build confidence and leadership
