SUMMARY:Paper folding workshop for preschool teachers
DESCRIPTION:A workshop on making pictures using paper was held among preschool teachers. Two government officials and 13 non-government officials participated in this.\nIt was a workshop to bring out the creative skills of the teachers and benefit the preschool children. They were also asked to conduct this workshop as a continuation and to provide assistance in conducting activities in their preschools.

That’s why we proudly implement TeamUP — a global\, evidence-based intervention (developed by War Child Holland\, UNICEF Netherlands and Save the Children Netherlands) that supports children facing adversity through structured\, movement-based play. \n TeamUP is active in over 25 countries\, helping children recover from psychosocial problems\, stress\, and displacement — and since 2022\, CCH has brought it to life across Sri Lanka. \nOver the past 4 years\, we’ve: \n Trained over 150 skilled facilitators nationwide \n Reached thousands of children in children’s homes\, schools\, rehabilitation centers\, and communities \n Built safe\, inclusive play spaces where children can build resilience\, emotional strength\, and a sense of belonging \n“When I play in TeamUP\, I feel like I can breathe again. DESCRIPTION:As part of the Voices for Change project\, we’re working with local CSOs to develop a practical toolkit that helps children\, adolescents\, and youth safely and meaningfully lead campaigns on the issues they care about.\n\n\nTo build and validate this toolkit\, we’re working with a group of experts\, including CSOs and government partners from across Sri Lanka\, who form our ‘Core Validation Network.’ \n\n\nWe recently met together\, where everyone shared tools\, ideas\, and resources they’ve used in their own work. These real-life experiences are helping us create a toolkit that’s practical\, inclusive\, and rooted in local knowledge – so it can be useful for both children and adults.
